To decide what gets compared with what. Long-term holdings in one, short-term trades in another, and rotation stops offering you a swap between things you never meant to swap.
In the rotation filters you pick which portfolios take part, so the same set of coins can be looked at from several angles without moving anything.
From Market — find the coin and add it from its card. From Portfolio — the Add asset button, with the amount and entry price, or straight away with a transaction. From Wallets — connect an address and the balances come in on their own.
By default adding an asset opens a transaction, so the entry price and the log stay honest. If you only need the coin in the list — to see it in rotation, say — turn on Auto-add asset in Settings and it is added in one step, with no transaction.
Nothing is deleted. What does not fit the free limits is frozen: it stays in your lists, but a frozen portfolio does not open, sync or send notifications. The Default and Rotation portfolios always stay active; of the rest, you choose once what stays active within the limit.
